F-L-O-R-I-D-A S-T-A-T-E

One of the advantages of living on the East Coast is that now we are able to watch FSU games - both on TV (I had had enough of the Big 12 for sure!) and we are close enough to actually go to some of the games. So for the second time, my former (not old) roommate made the trek down from Rhode Island to visit us and go to the FSU/Maryland game. A few differences this time around. 1. Last time it was FREEZING and this time it was only in the upper 40's - much better! 2. Last time we were sitting in the Maryland section - good location but the crowd was not pleasant. This time we were in the FSU section - location not so good (we were being warmed by the stadium lights which were right behind us) but the crowd was fantastic. 3. Last time we crushed them. This year it was a nail biter until the very end....when we did crush them.
The girls did not go with us...instead they had a slumber party at their friend Lorelei's house. They were very jazzed about it and overall that went well. The girls are funny cause we have been teaching them the Florida State fight song (what! what!) and they are getting pretty close to learning it. Next year we will have to take them to a game!

Final Score: 30 to 16

Stacy (former roomie) and her hubby Peter with K at the tailgate before the game. This is an aside, but at that tailgate we ran into a group of Darren's fraternity brothers! Hard to imagine since we went to school in FL and were watching a game in MD. And then to top it off, we ran into another group of fraternity brothers up at our seats! Crazy!

Me and Stacy having fun!

The four of us - in our very high seats!
