Also on Friday, the girls had their Christmas Sing-Along at school. There are only two classes that go until 1pm on Friday, so it was a small group. Brooke has been singing non-stop around the house. Primarily Rudolph. Seriously she sings it no less than 8 times - completely through - each day. Audrey has now started putting her hands over her ears. Though we should not laugh, it really is hilarious. Both girls were pretty pumped - but that excitement did not really translate well into performance the actual day. They both seemed fairly bored/distracted though they did participate, it was not really with the pizzazz that I was expecting. This is a shot of their class. The kid running at the far right of the picture is the "bad" kid. And after watching this show, I don't know how the teachers can get anything done and wrangle him as well.

Christmas Party and Sing-Along
Last Friday, the girls had their Christmas party at school....it was just for the kiddos, but we signed up to make dessert. My plan was to find adorable Christmas-y food that the girls could almost do completely by themselves. Success! We made little Santa Graham crackers - all I had to do was spread the icing. And then we made little Rudolph sugar cookies. Again I spread the icing and of course cooked the cookies. Occasionally they needed little reminders about the best order to put the stuff on so that it would all fit. But they had a blast doing it and the little treats turned out cute and delicious.

Hah! Love the shot of the kid running off to the side. I'm shocked they keep letting him participate! Please tell me he won't be in the 5 day class next year...
